ICAR is conducting Walk-in drive 2014 for appointment to the post of Research Associates at the Secretariat of NFBSFARA will be held on 28th February, 2014 at the above mentioned address. The ICAR is conducting Walk-in drive 2014 appointment will be on contractual basis and the incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under ICAR.
The tenure of appointment will be initially for a period of one year from the date of appointment which may be extended from time to time depending on performance and ICAR is conducting Walk-in drive 2014 requirement.

Eligibility:
1. With Doctoral Degree: PhD degree in any discipline of Agriculture/Animal Science/Fisheries/ Agriculture Engineering and allied fields.
or
2. With Master's Degree: Master's degree in the above disciplines with 1"
Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/ other engagements. Published research papers will be desirable.
Essential Qualifications: Experience in Computer Applications for Office & scientific purposes like MS Office, database applications, use of Internet and statistical software.
Desirable:
• Experience in working in public research funding agencies.
• Experience in report preparation and other document preparation.
Method of Selection: Selection shall be done on the basis of a written test followed by interview.
Emoluments: Consolidated Rs. 24,000/- per month for Ph.D. holder and Rs. 23,000/- per month for Master Degree holders. HRA and other benefits will be regulated as per existing norms of the ICAR. No accommodation will be provided.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on 28.02.2014 (Relaxation for SC/ST /OBC as per rules).
