Research Assistant
Essential Qualification: First class postgraduate degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology with minimum three years of research experience or PhD in Microbiology/ Biotechnology awarded or Thesis submitted with at-least two publications in international peer reviewed journal.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the area of Molecular biology of lactic acid bacteria.
Emoluments: A Fellowship of Rs. 23,220/- per month consolidated as per the norms of funding agency.
Terms & Conditions for CFTRI Recruitment 2014:
Candidates should not have exceeded 30 years of age as on 15-02-2014 i.e., the last date of receipt of applications for the post.
Up to 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC for candidates and/or the candidates with PhD qualification/ PhD thesis submission.
The engagement of Research Assistant is exclusively for the above mentioned project.
The engagement will be contractual and on purely temporary basis in the project funded by ICMR New Delhi for a maximum period upto 26-05-2015 and is co-terminus with the project, if the project terminates earlier.
The engagement under externally funded project does not confer any right/claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR/CFTRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent.
